Answers:I'm in seventh grade currently. First of all, are you transfering into a private school or a very advance one? If not, well, how to put this lightly. I have promised myself a billion times that I would study, but I never do. But I always do fine in tests as long as I concentrate. In my primary years, my school made us play this fun maths site where you compete with people all over the country. But if your school hasn't gave you your password, I'm pretty sure you have to pay. But here is the link anyway: http://www.mathletics.com.au/ OMG! The kid that has the highest points in the world is a kid that is in my primary!! Wow,..... About science, I've looked around, can't really find anything one it. So sorry :( But I hope that site helps!!
Answers:go to your state's dept. of education and look up thier standards. I'm in Michigan, and they are called Grade Level Content Expectations.
Answers:My neice spent the summer between her 5th and 6th grade at one of these learning centers. Since you live in Texas, as I do, you know if you don't pass the TAKS, you don't pass. Thousands of dollars were spent that summer and she did good at the tutoring center, but when she started school again it was back to failing. She gets tutored for free at school and it does no good. I don't live in Houston, but I do live in Texas and here in East Texas, I tutor and for math or science I get $25 for 2 hours a week. Some charge by the hour at least 20 per hour. Some tutors get all the students in the same grade together and do it at the same time and charge you less. Ask at a local college in the math department, for the best tutors...also, I tutor for free online at www.algebra.com. try that site for helping with homework and general questions...we have lots of great people who just love doing math on that site. Good luck, don't waste your money at a center...
